Audit Log Retention Policy

This policy documents the retention of administrative audit logs in the AdoptIQ platform. It satisfies the 7-year retention commitment in the AdoptIQ Build Prompt (§6) and is referenced by the Information Security Policy (§5).

1. What is logged

Administrative actions on each Customer workspace: estate connection changes, cohort and objective changes, scoring-config changes, member role changes, scorecard delivery events, and any other tenant-admin action.

Application telemetry is logged separately and retained for 12 months.

2. Retention period

Administrative audit records are retained for 7 (seven) years from the date the action was taken.

After 7 years, records are deleted by an automated monthly purge job that runs on the 1st of each month.

3. Customer access

Customers with the Admin or Owner role can view their workspace's audit log at any time inside the AdoptIQ Admin console.

Exports of the audit log are available on written request to support@adoptiq.co.uk.

4. Legal holds

Records subject to a documented legal hold are excluded from the purge until the hold is released.
